No need to bail out this Kreisler!
Thank you for bringing these 78s over to MP3. Another wonderful recording by Fritz Kreisler. The "ensemble sound" of the London Philharmonic is under Barbirolli is terrific. Kreisler's interpretation is, of course, heart-felt and thoughtful. The rondo is full of joy and personality. On the technical side of the digital transfer, there were several minutes of "dead air" at the end of 1st movement after extraction ... no problem with the other movements of the concerto.
